My Story

 

Great stories are remembered for the impact they leave on you and that is my goal with all interactions I have with people. My goal is for every person I work with to come away with key learnings about themselves, their teams or a specific skill, that triggers a personal connection. 
 

I leverage my strong background in Human Resources and employee development to help professionals communicate with confidence and power, align people and teams, cultivate strong collaborators and ultimately help achieve strong business results.  I believe in making sure everything I do is highly practical and fun.  Laughing and enjoying the learning experience helps everything to stick.

​I am an experienced Consultant, Training Manager, HR Director and HR Business Partner who has engaged with a variety of companies to help achieve business results by building successful teams.  Some of the successes that I am most proud of are listed below:​
  • Designed a robust Cross Functional Collaboration and a Coaching for Results course that are now part of the Effective Training Associates Global offering.

  • Acted as a critical partner in developing the Management Essentials leadership training program that is globally offered by Effective Training Associates

  • Implemented the Extreme Certified Leadership Program, a cohort based, 14-month program for leadership development resulting in closer goal alignment and consistent leadership practices

  • Successfully delivered management training to companies all over the world

  • Designed and implemented training plans for companies to roll out to their management teams

  • Facilitated employee feedback and problem solving sessions with employees at all levels and worked with management teams on follow up action plans

  • Instructor in the HR Certificate program through UCSC Extension

  • Successfully facilitated complex employee relations issues with a variety of companies which I am proud to say have resulted in zero lawsuits and zero large settlements.  I continue to be hired in to support HR organizations in handling and mitigating difficult employee issues.

  • Have designed, customized and implemented new hire integration programs for several companies that created strong organizational alignment at such companies as Extreme Networks, LiveOps and Infoblox.  I continue to be brought in to help HR teams to enhance their onboarding programs

  • Provided personal coaching sessions with several C-level executives and other managers on a variety of people and operational issues, which played an instrumental role in their career development

  • Provided mentoring with a Director of Leadership and Development of a mid-size company to help build her brand and skill sets

  • Facilitated executive strategic planning sessions, executive focus groups and executive talent assessments and succession planning exercises​​ in both high tech and non-profit organizations with as few as 30 employees, up to 2000
